so. i got dumped. a week ago. no warning signs, no clues, just wake up last sunday and blammo! dumped.
therefore, i am not moving to dallas. i am staying in fort worth. one of my bffs, nicky "cock-punching" callahan is moving in to my apartment. i think it will be good. we get along great. i have been on a terrible bender the past week, big surprise there. i was actually really excited to move. to meet new people and go new places and of course be closer to the gf, but that rug got yanked out from underneath me. i have been doing fine, but rejection fucking hurts, like hell. all of my friends have been great at keeping me drunk and in decent spirits.
i think i want to move back to oregon in like a year.
party near the end of june for brian's send off to dallas.

1234 who's punk, what's the score?
omigod! i was just doing some youtube browsing, and found several bad quality videos of the madhatters jawbreaker show that i was very much present for! the date was march 10, 1994. i was 17, and it was probably the best show of my life (and i have been to a few)
madhatters was to me, what the ridglea is to so many kids now. it was a local, all ages club, that booked some pretty kick ass punk bands back in the day. the ones i remember were the queers, no empathy, pegboy, ......ummmm....jawbreaker. i definitely saw a large amount of local bands (toadies, caulk, brutal juice, baboon) there as well. it was a good time to be young and high. ironically, i live just blocks away from where said venue at night/cafe by day resided. when i moved back to texas from oregon, it had become a bad cafe with a bad menu. it was later to be the expansion of the adjacent egyptian restaraunt, king tuts, which it still is.
sometimes i miss those days, but really i will just cherish the memories.

damn liberal penguins!!!
i am so hungry. all i have had to eat today is a bowl of cereal when i got up. slept in so late, i had to take a cab to work. got pretty wasted last night. hung out w/ my friend jessica. got a haircut, i made dinner in exchange. delicious pork tenderloin in a whiskey/ apple cider glaze, brussel sprouts braised in rahr ugly pug beer, and roasted rosemary potatoes. it was excellent. our pal emma came over and we smoked herb, mandy webb came over, and we smoked more. all that weed and wine did a number on my head.
i just got off of work. very short shift today, 12-4. waiting for baby b to pick me up. hope he is hungry.
yesterday, this woman comes into the store with her friend. she is decked out in a stars jersey, and a miller lite ball cap. she looked like an extra in talladega nights. she is messing with her cellphone (a razr, ooooooh!!!) "i want to see happy feet." my co-worker chris says "is that like march of the penguins?" i thought he was kidding, so i start laughing, cuz he held such a straight face. turns out, he wasn't. she says "happy feet has got to be better cuz it doesn't have all that polical bullshit in it!" her friend asks her what she means. she goes on to say that march of the penguins has an anti bush agenda. fucking classic. somebody get this woman a toby keith shirt asap.
just ate at railhead bbq w/ brian. the rodeo and stock show is in town, so it was even redneckier than usual. i got stared at by a table of thick necked fucks walking out. i just turned around and said "what?" then we left.
might take a nap b4 olivia gets here, we are going to go see pans labyrinth tonight, it looks really good.
later.
